Improve flexibility in the joints by holding floor based poses between 4 and 10 minutes with rest between each pose.

Blankets and pillows safely pad the joints to help them open.

A silent half hour at the end of class with an optional seated meditation

Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy is a very methodical and slow approach involving yogic breathing, and prescriptive yoga poses adapted to your needs.

If you are unsure of attending an open class because of a pre-exisiting condition, yoga therapy lets you understand what poses harm and what will heal.
