Pregnancy Yoga

Just a quick note to say thanks so much for the fab classes. I've never laughed so much or felt so nurtured in in a yoga class. Stevie Wonder is definitely on my birth-day play list for when the going gets tough. Along with lots of ribbon breathes and lion roars!

• Ward off and treat common pregnancy ailments.
• Fennel or nettle tea and wheat free snacks are served after class to encourage community and new friends
• Pamper Hour after class when arranged with visiting reflexologist and massage therapists

This class is open to everyone from beginners to yoga teachers
• relax and restore your energy reserves
• gain greater awareness of your anatomy
• improve flexibility in the joints by holding floor based poses between 4 and 10 minutes with rest between each pose.
• Blankets and pillows safely pad the joints to help them open.
• Develop the Art of Stillness alongside teachings of craniosacral principles
• A silent half hour at the end of class with an optional seated meditation
Yoga Therapy

• Yoga therapy is a very methodical and slow approach involving yogic breathing, and prescriptive yoga poses adapted to your needs.
• If you are unsure of attending an open class because of a pre-exisiting condition, yoga therapy lets you understand what poses harm and what will heal.
• Tanya specialises in back pain, digestive disorders, postnatal recovery and panic attacks/ anxious depression.

One to One tuition to develop your own yoga practice that suits your own body and temperament drawing on the full spectrum of yoga from meditation to dynamic flow.
